Veva (Vicky) Pierce Vicky Pierce, 83, of San Angelo went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of December 26th, 2016. After her long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease, she went peacefully in her sleep, having spent her final days at home with her family whom she loved very much. Vicky was born in Miles, Texas to Robert and Lorene Balkum on May 25, 1933, the youngest of eight children. She married the love of her life, Dewey Pierce, on September 15, 1950 in Miles, Texas, sharing sixty-six wonderful years of love and devotion. She went to Business College and received her Associate's Degree in Bookkeeping and went on to have a successful career. She led a very active life, including dedicating time to her church and being one of the top female bowlers in San Angelo for over 30 years, holding many titles and winning multiple tournaments. Her most prized and valued accomplishment was her family; everything she did, she did with unconditional love for them. Vicky lived an amazing, happy and full life. Preceding her in death were her parents, five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Dewey Pierce; her daughters, Janis Baucom and husband Jim, and Sandra Love; her grandchildren, Joshua Baucom, Jade Baucom, Kasi Love, Pierce Love and Krystee Love; her great-grandchildren, Kadin Baucom and Matthew Baucom; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28th 5:30-7:00 PM at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 29th at 10:00 AM at Immanuel Baptist Church, 90 E. 14th, San Angelo, with burial to follow at Miles Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
