Vicente Gonzales

Vicente Gonzales, 85, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday January 16, 2025.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Memorial service will be 12:30 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel.

Mr. Gonzales was born on October 21, 1939 in San Angelo to Jesus and Maria Menchaca Gonzales. He attended school in San Angelo before going to work as the eldest in the family. Vicente worked as a projectionist at Texas Theater for over 45 years before retiring. He was an accomplished sketch artist of wildlife and was a self-taught building tradesman. Vicente was a tough man but generous to a fault and funny.

He is survived by two sisters, Florita G. Gatica of Bedford and Magdalena Golden of San Antonio; and a brother Emilio Gonzales of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
