Victoria O. Rodriguez

Victoria O. Rodriguez, 80, of San Angelo passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at a local hospital. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Swamy Lakkineni officiating. Burial will be in Belvedere Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Victoria was born on January 12, 1933 in Knickerbocker, TX to Felipe and Marianna Olveda. She married Victor Rodriguez in 1946 in Knickerbocker. She was a homemaker who truly loved to cook (especially bean tamales), caring for her family and always treasured spending time with everyone. Victoria was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; daughter Margarita Rodriguez; brothers Felipe Olveda, Raymond Olveda; sisters Lupe Flores, Concha Ramirez and Clara Gonzales. She is survived by son Mose Rodriguez and wife, Gloria of San Angelo; son Eddie Rodriguez, Sr. of San Angelo; son Marcos Rodriguez and wife Candelaria of La Grange, TX; son Tony Rodriguez and wife Erlinda of San Angelo; son Jesse Rodriguez and wife Alicia of Mereta; daughter Esmeralda De La Rosa and Felix of San Angelo; son George Rodriguez of Grape Creek; son Victor Rodriguez of San Angelo; son Eddie Rodriguez, Jr of San Angelo; sister Margaret Garcia and husband Ernesto of San Angelo; sixteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of Nurse's Unlimited along with the Doctors and staff of San Angelo Community Hospital as well as a special thank you to her caregiver, Linda Saldana.
