Yolanda Hernandez, 65, of San Angelo, passed away on July 14, 2010 in San Angelo. Rosary will be Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 19, 2010 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Monsignor Maurice Voity officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Yolanda was born in San Angelo to Eusebio T. Lopez and Santos Hernandez Lopez on September 2, 1944. She married Wally Hernandez, Sr. on February 24, 1962 in San Angelo. She was a homemaker and was known for her famous homemade biscuits. Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents. Yolanda is survived by husband Wally Hernandez Sr.; sons Wally Hernandez Jr. and wife, Diana, and Richard Hernandez; daughters Terri Hernandez, Bertha Hernandez, and Josie Hernandez, all of San Angelo; sisters Janie Olson of Valley Springs, California, Irene Chavez of San Angelo, Mary Torres of San Angelo, Oralia Acosta of Fort Stockton and brother Luis Lopez of Hobbs, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Wally Hernandez III, Jacob Hernandez, Leo Talamentes III, Justin Talmantes, Paul Blanco Jr., and Tomas Hernandez. The family of Yolanda Hernandez wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Cummings and Hospice of San Angelo for all their help and support.
