Vivian R. Reyes, Sr. 80 of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 8, 2013 at a local care center. Prayer service will be 7:00pm Wednesday September 11, 2013 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral Service will be 1:00pm Thursday September 12, 2013 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Alex Tenorio of House of Restoration church, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Vivian was born on April 28, 1933 in Miles, TX. to Jose R. and Juanita (Rodriguez) Reyes. He was a heavy equipment operator at Johnny Pool Sand & Gravel and a truck driver. He loved to read the Word of God and pass out tracts to share the love of Jesus. He was an avid fisherman. He was a faithful member and a deacon at House of Restoration church. Pallbearers are Adam Reyes, Ruben Reyes, Ricky Arizola, Oscar Rivera, Luis Soto, Angel Martinez, Demas Hernandez and Justin Murillo. Vivian was preceded in death by his parents Jose Reyes, Sr. and Juanita R. Reyes, brothers; Anestacio Reyes and Jose Reyes, Jr., sisters; Juanita Rangel and Suzie Arizola and a granddaughter; Alexandra Martinez Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Amelia Reyes of San Angelo, sister; Francisca Murillo of Hereford, Tx., daughter; Betty Reyes, son; Vivian Reyes, Jr. and wife Liza, all of San Angelo, ten grandchildren; Jesse Martinez, Osvaldo Martinez, Tito Reyes and wife Jackie, Elijah Reyes, Isaiah Reyes, Ariel Reyes, Isaac Reyes, Mykayla Reyes, Jazmine Reyes and Alexandra Reyes. four great grandchildren; Angel Martinez, Celeste Martinez, Victoria Martinez and Esai Reyes all of San Angelo. Memorial donations in Vivian's honor may be given to the House of Restoration church building fund at 529 E. 25 ½ street San Angelo, Texas 76903
