Wally Hernandez Sr.

Wally Hernandez Sr., 71, of San Angelo, passed away on November 18, 2015 at his residence. Viewing will be 10:00am to 8:00pm Saturday November 21, 2015 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Rosary will be 7:00pm Sunday November 22, 2015 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Lorenzo Hatch, officiating. Burial will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. He was born on April 3, 1944 to Pedro and Virginia (Navarro) Hernandez in San Angelo, TX. On February 24, 1961 he married Yolanda Lopez at St. Mary Catholic Church in San Angelo. Wally owned and operated Wally's Cleaning Service for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching sports, especially his Texas teams, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros and Texas Rangers. He loved old westerns and Elvis Presley. He was a devoted husband, who enjoyed dancing with his wife, a caring father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be Wally Hernandez III, Jacob Hernandez, Justin Talamantes, Paul Blanco Jr., Thomas Hernandez and Chris Lopez. He was preceded in death by parents, his wife, Yolanda Hernandez, brothers, Ignacio, Severiano, Benanico and Juan Hernandez, sisters, Elosia Jasso, Petra Gonzales and Angelica Robles. Wally is survived by his son, Wally (Diana) Hernandez, Jr., daughters, Terri Hernandez, Bertha Hernandez, son, Richard Hernandez, daughter, Josie Hernandez, sister, Estella Serrano all of San Angelo, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
