Wanda Scott Turner, 80, of Carlsbad, TX passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 10am on Saturday, April 18th at Pioneer Memorial Park under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Wanda was born in Wellington, TX on January 26, 1935 to John and Willie (Ayers) Scott. Wanda married Jack Turner on December 23, 1960 in Lubbock. Wanda loved being outdoors taking care of her flower and vegetable gardens. She and Jack loved spending time together playing different card games and dominos. Wanda loved spending time reading her cherished Bible and spreading the gospel. She loved spending time with her loving family and especially with her grandchildren. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she has touched. Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Jack Turner; son, Jack Tuner, Jr. and wife, Cynde of Midland; daughters Debbie Rainey of Lubbock; Becky Fahntrapp and husband, Joe and Jackie Schneider and husband, Wayne both of Carlsbad; brother, George Scott; sister, Iva Cover both of Lubbock along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
