WELDON M. JOYCE

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our father, Weldon M. Joyce. Daddy died at his home in Christoval on Monday, May 30, 2005. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Mark Roberts, of Georgetown, officiating. Internment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Daddy was born September 30, 1922 in Wall, Texas to G. L. (Pa) and Lola (Ma) Joyce. Daddy attended school in Tankersley. Upon returning from WWII, where he proudly served his country in the Army-Air Corp, Daddy met and married the love of his life, LaJuan Norris. They were married July 4, 1946 in Talpa, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Elton and Harold, one sister-in-law Frankie, two brothers-in-law Lynn Hargrove and Charlie Roberts and special friends Vic Ellefson and J.C. Montgomery. He is survived by our Mother, LaJuan; three daughters, Linda Cole and husband, Gene; Sue Fletcher and husband, Tom; and Jann Joyce and Fiance Jim Gresham.
