WILLA DEAN McGEE

Willa Dean Reeves McGee, 85, of San Angelo, passed away Monday, August 09, 2004 in a local hospital. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at the Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. James Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM, at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, TX. Senior Adult Coordinator, Don Seigler with Immanuel Baptist Church will officiate the service. Willa Dean Reeves McGee was born April 6, 1919 in Marysville, TX to Arbin M. and Lillie Mae Wood Reeves. Her family moved to Big Spring, Tx, December 1934. She married Edward F. McGee, February, 22, 1935. They moved to Midland in August, 1947. She worked for Schlumberger Well Services from January 1952 till January, 1967 and McDonald Douglas from 1967 to 1976. She lived in Sherman, TX in 1977 and worked for her son who operated an Exxon Service station. Returned to Midland, October 6, 1987 and moved to San Angelo, TX in February, 11, 1999. She is a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jerry, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors are: One Son:Donald E. McGee of Denison, TX Five sisters:Viola Pond Sue Stewart S.E. Powell All of San Angelo Pearl Hardin of Jal, NM Jessie Cole of Ft. Worth Eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
