William T. Jones Sr.

William T. Jones, 79, of Big Spring passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 AM Monday, July 27, 2015 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow at Belvedere Memorial Cemetery. Services are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. William Thomas Jones born March 21, 1936 in San Angelo to L. C. and Mae F. Jones. He attended Blackshear High before joining the Marines and served a four year tour receiving an honorable discharge. Later on he worked with for the City of San Diego for 37 years. He retired in Joplin, MO in 1995. He was preceded in death by father, L. C. Jones; mother, Mae F. Jones; his son, William T. Jones, Jr. also Lizzie Holcomb, Rosa L. Thomas, L. C. Jones Jr., Gladys Smoot, Irma R. Jones, Sherman Jones and Billy L. Jones. He leaves to cherish his memories daughter, Debra Franklin (Leo) of Jacksonville, FL; son, Thomas R. Perryman Jones of San Angelo: grandchildren, Tracie Franklin, Marcus Franklin, Brandon Franklin and Linnell West-Perryman, and a host of other relatives and friends.
