Willie Earl Young, 67, of Big Lake, Texas, passed away on December 25, 2016 in Big Lake. Funeral services were held at 2:00 on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Glen Rest Cemetery with Gerry L. Henderson of Bethlehem Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Willie Earl was born in Calvert, Texas to Alfonso Young and Ethel Marie Singleton on May 2, 1949. He has been married to Barbara Doege Young for 23 years. Willie worked as an oilfield pumper for Mark Young. Willie is preceded in death by his stepfather, James Ervin Phillips Sr. Willie Earl Young is survived by his wife, Barbara Doege Young, a son, Terrence Jordan Young; stepson, Tyler Eugene Doege; daughters, Lori Taguinod and granddaughter, Aarica Barker, Tiffanie Young and grandson, De'Onte Howard; brothers Tommy Joe Phillips and wife Juanita, James Ervin Phillips Jr. and wife Diane; sister Dorothy Phillips and his mother, Marie Phillips. Willie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. Pallbearers will be: Mark Young, Mike Lopez, Jaron Young, Sammy Martinez, Kelly Daniels, Joe Galindo, David Romero and Belen Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearers: Josh Daniels, Gilbert Romero and Carlos Hernandez and Paul Doege.
