Ysabel Delgado Garcia

Ysabel "Guy" Delgado Garcia, 54, of San Angelo, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at his residence. Prayer service will be 6 p.m. Friday January 31, 2014 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will 10 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Christian Faith Center with Pastor Todd Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Robert Massie Funeral Home. Guy was born June 24, 1959 to Margarita Rivera and Ysabel Garcia Sr. in San Angelo. He served his country in the United States Army in Germany, Korea, and Hawaii. Guy married Bertha Blanco on February 24, 1990 in San Angelo. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and most of all playing jokes on any and everyone unsuspecting person. He was preceded in death by: sister Elizabeth Bejil and brother Rudy Chavez He survived by: wife Bertha Garcia, son Guy Garcia, of San Angelo, daughters, Cecilia Garcia and Nicole Blanco and husband, Fructoso Montemayor, and special granddaughter Zariana Montemayor of San Antonio, mother, Margarita Rivera and husband, Juan of Hobart, OK, father Ysabel Garcia Sr. and wife Lupe of San Angelo, siblings: Norma Hernandez of San Angelo, and Cynthia Bejil, Armando Gonzales, Angel Gonzales, Ben Rivera, all of Tulsa, OK, Juan Rivera Jr. of Clinton, OK, Ivis Rivera and Deana Rivera of Houston. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Odyssey Hospice and Hope House for their care and support for Guy.
