Margaret Louise (Taylor) Wallace

Margaret Louise Wallace, 92, died May 15, 2021, in San Angelo, Texas after a brief illness.

Services will be 1:00 pm on June 5, 2021 , at Christ Church Anglican in Midland, Tx with Rev. Jonathan Hartzer and Pastor Lance Johnson officiating.

Margaret was born December 4, 1928 in Dryden, Tx to William M. Taylor and Inez Pauline Anderson Taylor.
She spent her childhood and teen years in Fort Stockton, Texas. She married Robert (Bob) D. Wallace on August 14, 1954, in Santa Monica, CA. Margaret had been a resident of Midland, TX from 2000 until her move to San Angelo, Texas in 2019.

Margaret was a homemaker and loving wife and aunt. She followed Robert around the country as his career took him to both coasts, spending the longest time in California until his retirement. She was always excited when family would come visit and played tour guide during these visits. She and Bob were active in the Anglican Church. She was an avid reader of all types of fiction and non-fiction. She also did oil painting.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother William Taylor, and her sisters, Mary Elkins, and Cathy Conner. She is survived by Robert W. Elkins (nephew), Glenda Leavelle (niece) and James, Eileen Conner Johnson (niece) and Lance, Debbie Seal (niece) and Bryan, Denise Thomas (niece) and Mark, Doug Taylor (nephew) and Donna, and many great-nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to expresses its sincerest appreciation to the staff of Meadow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation as well as Kindred Hospice for their compassionate care in Margaret's last days. Additionally, they would like to thank Connie Parks, Terri Sartain, Sylvia Montalvo, Erin Rauch, and Megan Sartain for staying with, loving and caring for Margaret while her full-time caretaker was away.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Christ Church Anglican in Midland, Tx.
