Ruth Cajas

Public viewing will be on Tuesday, September 7 from 10:00AM until 8:00 PM at Robert Massie Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 8 at 10:00 AM in the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel.  Pastor Truman Johnson will officiate.

Ruth was born on January 16, 1955, in San Angelo to her parents, Gilbert and Bisenta Lopez Carrasco. She spent her life as a caregiver for her family and friends, she was a true angel.  Ruth's greatest love was her family.  She cared deeply for them, not out of obligation, but because of who she was.  Ruth always ensured that everyone was safe, healthy, fed, and happy.  Her love, her compassion, her patience, her hugs, and her smile will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Bisenta Carrasco; by her brothers, Gilbert, and Fred Carrasco; and by a sister Rosemary Carrasco.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her son, Israel Cajas, Jr of San Angelo; her daughter, Jessica Cajas Price and her husband Stephen of San Angelo; her twin brother, Ronnie Carrasco and his wife Mary of San Angelo; her brother Noe Carrasco and wife Janie of San Angelo; her sister, Rita Brown of Dallas; by her grandchildren, Sara Bartek of Abilene, Robert Martin Jr. of San Angelo, Jesse Scott Jr of San Angelo, Lisa Puente of San Angelo, Jacob Cajas of Waco, Devin Cajas of San Angelo, Diamond Castaneda of Dallas, Joel Perez of Houston, Annyha McClinton of San Angelo; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family invites you to gather and join them in celebrating Ruth's life immediately following the burial service at 110 South Taylor.
